Bangkok Boulevard Signature Pinklao-Borom’s Clubhouse
The Elliptic Curve clubhouse at Bangkok Boulevard Signature Pinklao-Borom redefines communal living through architectural fluidity and spatial integration. Inspired by Monet’s Water Lilies in the oval room of Musée de l’Orangerie, the building’s elliptical form and semi-enclosed layout create a serene yet dynamic environment. A central oval pool anchors the space, while circulation flows in a spiral pattern through key functions—hall lounge, co-working space, kids' room, and active studios—encouraging interaction and activity. A spiral staircase connects to the second floor, where fitness and yoga areas are elevated both literally and experientially. The spatial arrangement not only supports modern living needs but also enhances passive ventilation and offers a thoughtful contrast between open and enclosed zones.
The architectural highlight is the elliptical spiral roof, a single, sweeping structure that unifies diverse programmatic elements. Gradually increasing in height to accommodate varying functions, the roof employs a modern standing seam system with smooth, seamless curvature. This approach achieves both technical precision and aesthetic elegance, with a minimum slope of 3 degrees to ensure performance and ease of installation. The result is a refined, modern clubhouse that harmonizes structure, form, and function to elevate everyday community life.
